The HP Spectre x360 15-bl100na is a model with steel-encased 360° hinge and decent specs for office work. In other words, the screen of this gadget is foldable, so this gadget can be used as a larger tablet with Windows 10. It can be partially folded with the keyboard pointing down to use both hands and even a mouse if you are at a desk. You can see from pictures and videos that it is a laptop with great build quality. It does not look like any other series from this brand and the new logo is more modern. The screen is an IPS with fairly narrow edges, especially on the side.
A special laptop also has state-of-the-art components: Core i7-8550U Kaby Lake R processor, Intel UHD 620 video card, 8GB memory, MX150 with 2GB dedicated memory and 512GB SSD. Battery life is great for such an advanced machine and it depends on how you use it (video playback reduces its life). The 4K display is special and not any series has it, and I think you will appreciate to large number of details. It has a glossy protection like on all tablets and viewing angles are wide.
Audio quality is great with stereo speakers, but they are not as powerful as a classic audio system. The NVMe SSD is one of the best choices you can make from the current market (at least twice the performance of a convectional model). With Thunderbolt 3 port you can connect an external monitor or even charge the laptop. I think we will see more laptops with this technology because its really useful.
It wasn’t built for heavy gaming but you can try some game with small system requirements. Its features are different from those of an Envy model, but it remains a good choice.
I can say that it only addresses a certain category of users because of the price and features. This HP 15-bl100na is the Dark Ash version, but there may be other models if it does not look good enough for you.
