HP Pavilion Power 15-cb023na (3CE06EA#ABU)

HP Pavilion Power 15-cb023na (3CE06EA#ABU) is a laptop suitable for games because of the quad core CPU and the GTX 1050 graphics chip. It will run any game at good quality and for those who don’t like games but want a strong laptop I think it could be a great desktop replacement.

HP Pavilion Power 15-cb023na (3CE06EA#ABU)

Pros

The i5-7300HQ processor is a new one with 4 cores so that every task will run fluent. It has an integrated graphics card named Intel HD and because of that we will have a better battery life.
It wouldn’t be a gaming laptop if it hadn’t a discrete graphics card like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB. It’s one of the best cards available on the market and it can handle everything. About this component you must know that it has Nvidia Optimus – a feature that will deactivate the card when you don’t need it… this translates in a longer battery life.
RAM memory is more than enough with 8GB type DDR4. The difference between DDR4 and DDR3 is that the first has better performance and lower power consumption.
This HP Pavilion Power 15-cb023na has a very good screen that has a 15.6 diagonal with 1080p resolution. Also, it would’t be a gaming laptop without an IPS panel and matte (anti-glare) screen.
This notebook PC comes with Windows 10 Home as an Operating System and this means that it will be very secure. This OS is installed on the SSD and because of that it will be accelerated.

Cons

It could had an i7 processor like the i7-7700HQ, but it would have costed more (plus 100 pounds).
Battery life is decent… as expected from a gaming laptop. Manufacturer says it will last more than 10 hours, but this is an optimistic scenario.

Conclusion

If you want a special laptop with good components, illuminated keyboard and good reliability than this Power 15 from HP would be great. How it looks like can be seen from the preview below.
