HP Pavilion Gaming 15-bc400na, laptop with Intel Core i5-8250U CPU

HP Pavilion 15-bc400na is a gaming laptop with budget hardware – Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB RAM memory, 1TB hard drive and GeForce GTX 1050 video card. One of the best video cards for gaming is present on this laptop but there are variants that provide more details in games or fps. Of course, at this price we can not expect to find the best laptop on the market, but a model to meet a user’s daily needs. I like its black finish because it highlights its keyboard and other aspects.

This is a classic laptop with decent components and a solid design that weights only 2.2 kg. You get 1 month free trial for Office 365 and after that period you can buy this software or choose a free solution like Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

This laptop doesn’t offer a backlit keyboard so you have to use a desk lamp when you work late.

Why should you consider buying it?

You’ll have plenty of space to save data, media files or other types of files. Multitasking is great with current memory and you do not need to put more. You can work almost all day on it because of its great battery, but you can keep it plugged in if you don’t move a lot with it. This CPU model can be compared to the previous generation of gaming processors because it the same amount of cores – 4. Some users are pleased with its performance even in some 3D games, but a Core i5-8300H is above this model.

HP Pavilion 15-bc400na is great for light gaming but games like PUBG can be played only on minimum settings and with decent fps. Other games, like Fortnite, don’t need a powerful hardware so you can enjoy a smooth experience with full details. Some will recommend replacing the hard drive with an SSD, but I’m telling you not to do it yet because these types of drives will be cheaper next year. If you do not want to wait, you can take a 256GB SSD and Windows 10 will start in a very short time.
