ASUS VivoBook X556UA-DM326T is a 15.6 inch laptop with integrated grpahics and i7 processor. Because of that this is a good office laptop that can be used for FHD movies too.
This model is for those interested in a laptop good for work and home.
This model comes at a good price and for the money we get a good laptop that can be used for Blu-ray movies, not so complicated games and office stuff (browsing the web, document editing etc).
On the specs side it has a big 15.6 inch screen, i7-6500U processor, 8 GB of RAM and Windows 10 pre-installed.
The screen is with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and because of that images and movies will be very clear on the anti-glare screen. If you want a Vivobook with 4K screen than I recommend the K501UX series.
The processor is from the Skylake series and has the integrated Intel 520 graphics chip so that you can play not so complicated games. In benchmarks it has a score of 4429 points that is good for a dual core U model (U sufix means that it has low voltage).
Nowadays notebooks don’t have optical drives but this one comes with DVD so that you can install another OS or programs. Still I recommend that you stay with Windows 10 because it’s the best os from MS.
The portability is decent with a weight of about 2.3 kg and a battery life of about 5 hours.
On the memory part this model comes with 8 gigs of RAM and one 1TB hard drive.
Pros and cons
Things that I like at the X556UA-DM326T model are the good reliability, that is has a big RAM capacity (you don’t need to add more) and that it has Windows (other manufacturers install Linux).
The only thing that I don’t like at it is that it has no SSD, but you can install it by replacing the HDD or by replacing the DVD drive with a HDD caddy.
In conclusion, if you want a laptop for work or home that does not cost too much and has good components than this model would be great,
