For those interested in a laptop with good portability and decent performance I recommend the ASUS VivoBook L402NA-GA042TS. As said the strong point of this model is the portability the laptop having a 11 hour battery life and a weight of 1.6 kg.
This model has a good price and for this money we get a device that good hardware and software. As you can see from the image below and from the clip this model is a dark blue one that has no numeric keyboard on the right.
It comes with Celeron N3350 processor that is a SoC from the Apollo Lake series. The score in benchmark is 1165 points. From what I have read this is a processor reworked from the Atom series.
The screen is a 14.1 inch one with HD resolution (1366×768 pixel) and good panel.
It has good productivity because of the presence of the Windows 10 Operating System. If you want to install another OS than you can use only the USB ports because it has no optical drive.
Pros and cons
Good things at this model are the good portability (weight below 2kg and battery that lasts more than 10 hours… depending on the tasks), the decent performance, the productivity and the good screen.
Things not so good are the lack of a Pentium processor and dedicated graphics card. Another thing that I don’t like is that it has no SSD and the capacity of the eMMC is only 32 GB. It would have been better if Asus had mounted a 500 GB hard drive or an 128 GB SSD.
The ASUS L402NA-GA042TS is a VivoBook for those interested in a device with good portability and good specs. You will have no problems with watching HD movies and browsing the web at high speed.
In the past many bought or were interested in netbooks (those little laptops with 11 inch screen, 2 GB of RAM and not so good performance) but this model is much better because it has a big screen and good performance.
From the below clip you can see how it looks like.
