Acer Chromebook 15 CB515-1HT-P099 (NX.GPTEK.003) is a 15 inch laptop powered by Chrome OS and has the best portability available – a battery life of up to 11 hours and a weight of 1.8kg.
The productivity of the device is better than that of a tablet because it has a keyboard and the screen is big.
Unlike other portable devices this one comes with a good processor – Pentium N4200 – with 4 cores and low voltage. This CPU integrates a graphics card – the HD Graphics 505 from Intel.
One of the things why Chromebooks are chosen is the portability. The OS – Chrome OS – is so lite-weight and the components are low voltage so that the battery lasts as long as possible (up to 12 hours… as the manufacturer mentions). Even the notebook has a 15.6 inch diagonal, the weight is only about 1.9kg.
If you make many calls via Skype or other apps than you should know that this device has a 720p webcam.
Does not come with cable LAN, but has wireless ac LAN. For this you need a wireless router, but these days everyone has such a router.
Storage capacity is not that great, the device having only 64GB of memory (type eMMC). You can use external storage (an USB stick) or even cloud one.
Chromebooks like this Acer Chromebook 15 CB515-1HT-P099 are for people interested in a device that has great portability, productivity and performance.
If you don’t like this OS than you might consider installing Windows 10, but my opinion is that you should stick to the pre-installed OS.
From the preview below you can see better how this device looks like. My opinion is that it looks similar to MacBook Air but has a much lower price. There are cheaper alternatives with only 2GB of RAM and Celeron processor but I recommend this one.
