Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431-C7VZ NX.GC2AA.010 is a 14 inch laptop specially designed to work with Chrome OS (the Operating System from Google). the hardware is very good (for example the Celeron N3160 processor scores 1695 points in benchmark being as good as a Pentium because of the 4 cores).
It has a good price, and for this money we get a very good notebook PC. It is suitable for tasks like Internet browsing, listening to music and watching movies form stream (Youtube etc).
The hardware is very good, including a quad core CPU, 4GB of RAM and wireless ac (this is wi-fi with better speeds than n, but only on a limited distance). The screen is one with 14 inch diagonal and 1080p resolution. About the viewing angles we can say that they are good for an office PC.
The portability is good because of the low weight (3,7 pounds) and of the 10 (or more) hours batter life.
It’s very easy to use and becasue of that it’s a great laptop for seniors and children.
It comes with a good graphics chip that can run HD and Full HD content. Intel HD graphics 400 is an integrated graphic card but it can compete with cards from AMD and Nvidia.
There are things that I don’t like at it and those are the storage capacity of the HDD that is not big (32GB), that it does not have Windows (has a better productivity than Android and Chrome OS) and that it does not have an i3 processor.
If you’re looking for a good alternative to a smartphone or tablet when browsing the web than a little laptop like this would be the best. The adveantage of laptops vs tablets is that those devices have better productivity.
More info and features can be seen from the clip below. In the video is a CB3-431 model and the specs might be slightly different.
